Jordan's Birthday!!!
This year I tried many times to surprise Jordan with something on his birthday, but continued to fail :) He first found out his actual present after looking on the credit card statement (which I told him not to...) Then Kynli and I were going to surprise him with some chinese food and a cupcake for lunch at school, but as we're driving to the school, he calls and said they got out of class early and so he'd already eaten his lunch he brought....so we still went, but it wasn't a surprise. Then I made a some yummy ribs and homemade molten chocolate cake for dessert for his birthday dinner and he got home early from school, so I was in the middle of making it any my mess still. I tried again to surprise him with a night out on the town that Saturday night, but he asks too many questions so he ended up finding out a little, but not all of the surprise. We took Kynli to a friends house to be watched while we met up with my sister, Lana and her husband (who's birthday is a day before Jordan's), at Osaka for dinner and then some racing at Pole Position and followed it all up with some cake! It was nice to get out and do something a little different for a change. HAPPY BIRTHDAY HONEY!! Hope you had a great day!!

Thanksgiving 2010
It was a short trip, but we made it to Utah for Thanksgiving despite the "blizzard" warning, that was really nothing. However, because it was literally freezing outside.....zero temperatures...the boys had to cancel the "shootout" this year at the ranch. I think they were all okay with staying inside where it was warm this year. We stayed at the Diamonds house and enjoyed lots of yummy food from both families. We did our usual "shopping" on black Friday, but switched to Layton Hills Mall to stay out of the cold and then headed to Salt Lake to see the Christmas lights from INSIDE the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then to dinner at Rodizio's. Yum Yum. Pretty sure we all gained at least 10 pounds that weekend :) The drive back was not so quick...it took a good 10 hours to get home...ugh! It was so much fun to see family though for even a short time.

Baby's First Christmas!
The Tuesday before Christmas we packed up the car with baby, presents, and even the dog. It was quite a sight I'm sure. We were so glad to be able to head up to Utah for Christmas with our families. This year we stayed at my parents house. I'm so glad they have a place we all can stay when we come visit. My Dad has now even created a sign saying "D and B's bed and breakfast" It's too funny. They get quite a house full when we're there as well as my sister and her family.
My dad retired this year and we got to go to his work for his retirement party. He will be very missed at his work and has made a huge difference in a lot of people's lives in his years there. Not only with the students, but the staff as well. So proud of you Dad!!
Christmas this year was so much fun with Kynli. Not that she really got into it yet, but she did have fun playing with the bows on the wrapped presents and the tissue paper. She got a lot of new books and some fun toys. She loved playing with them and with all her cousins.

On Christmas Eve, we made gingerbread houses at my parents with my brother and his wife. We had so much fun! Then my oldest brother Troy came after we had finished and created his masterpiece, complete with a satellite dish. :)
Troy's "mansion" that took him 20 hours to build ;-)
This year Christmas lasted 3 days for us. We celebrated with my parents and brothers Christmas day, then Jordan's family the next day, and then my sister and her family a few days later. It was nice to drag it out a little this year. It was also nice to go see my cousins on my mom's side on Christmas day. That's been a tradition since before I can remember and I'm so glad we were able to do it again this year.

Utah trip and Wedding
In October Kynli and I got to go up to Utah for my lil brother's wedding. Poor Daddy had to stay at home because of school. We missed him, but were so glad to go and visit family. My parents recently moved so we got to stay at the new house and see all the fun changes. I love where they live. I miss the mountains and space!! We had fun throwing a quick shower for Hannah two night before the big day. So glad we could make it work. Ryan's wedding was so nice. The weather was great and they looked so cute together. My friend Brindy did her hair, and it looked amazing!! (Thanks again Brindy!!! :) They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on Oct. 21. They had their luncheon at the Joseph Smith Memorial building with some yummy food. Kynli was able to spend the morning with Grandma Mare while I was at the temple, which was so nice. They had their reception in North Ogden that night. Hannah had it decorated so cute. She had made the arch they were standing in out of dried flowers Ryan had given her......LOVED IT!!!! They took off to Maui and Oahu, luckys!!!! We spent the rest of the time hanging out with family and throwing another shower (a baby shower) for my friend Alisa. It was so good to see friends and family. Can't wait to visit again soon!!!

Cute prego Lis at her baby shower...can't wait to meet her lil boy!!
Halloween
The Saturday before Halloween our neighborhood had a carnival at the park in our development. It was so cute. They had pony rides, face painting, balloon animals, blow up slides, food, cotton candy, costume contest.... So much fun. Kynli got to sit on the pony for a picture...we figured she's a bit young to "ride." She got 2 cute lil flowers painted on her face though. She was the cutest little flower fairy princess for Halloween. I LOVED her costume. She was so adorable in it. For Halloween we celebrated with our friends at our house with some yummy dinner, sugar cookies, and lots of candy!! We had a lot of trick-or-treaters which was fun, because we've never lived where they would come. It was funny though, because we were getting people that should not have been trick-or-treating....like PARENTS. Seriously...It was ridiculous!!! Here's my cute lil fairy....

Kynli
My baby is growing up so fast. She started rice cereal at about 4 months and loves it. She is now eating oatmeal and multigrain cereal as well as vegetables. She's tried green beans, squash, and sweet potatoes. Sweet potatoes are by far her favorite. The first taste of green beans was okay till about the third bite, when she realized what it was....the pictures tell it all :) Hilarious!! She has been rolling over for a long time now from her front to her back and is now rolling back to front. Yay!!! She's been sitting up since about 5 1/2 mo. too. She had her 6 month well check and weighed 14.5 lbs and is 24 in long. She laughs all the time....sometimes at nothing. She sits there looking at who knows what and starts to laugh. I love it!!! She's been having some stranger anxiety lately though. People at the store say hi and she smiles, but if they come up to talk to her, it's instantly sad face and crying. Silly girl. We've been to see a dermatologist and cardiologist now about her hemangioma on her nose and head. She now has an ointment we put on once a day and some oral medicine to help them both go down. So far, they are looking tons better and seem to be progressing fairly quick. I am so glad. I'm glad that we are able to see these doctors and get this medicine for her. It's been such a blessing to be able to have it treated now. I am so glad I get to stay home with her and watch her grow. Here's my lil angel....
....not so much anymore

She likes them....and then..........
I can't get enough of this lil girl. She is too cute!!!
