Red Rock Canyon
While Jordan's parents were here for his White Coat Ceremony, we took a morning drive up Red Rock Canyon. We wanted to show them the burros up there, and after going to the places we'd seen them and not finding any, we were thinking we may not see any that day, but I was wrong....I think they saw more of the burros than they had hoped for :) We saw a few off the side of the road, so we stopped and rolled down the windows to take a few pictures, and they came right up to the car and even stuck their head in. Ha Ha!! I was wanting pictures of it and Marilyn was wanting the window closed....too funny! Kynli was probably wondering what was going on. We saw our burros! Then we drove the Red Rock loop. It was so pretty because there was fresh snow on the tops of the high mountains behind and then the bright contrast of the red rock below. Gorgeous!!

White Coat Ceremony
I am so proud of Jordan. He's finished his first semester of dental school and has done well. He has worked so hard and sacrificed so much already. This past Friday he had his White Coat Ceremony for dental school. This is where they are given their white coats and are ready to start working on their own patients shortly. His parents flew in for a few days for this and it was so good to see them and to celebrate with Jordan. The ceremony was great. It was short and to the point and ran really smoothly. It was really well organized. After we went to dinner at the Outback...so yummy!!! Congratulations Jordan!!!! We're all so very proud of you!

Valentine's Day
We celebrated Valentine's Day early on Saturday by going out to dinner with my sister and a few other couples to P.F. Changs. It was so yummy....I haven't been there in forever, and loved it! After we came home, put Kynli to sleep, and watched a movie. It was so nice to have a night out with Jordan and Kynli :) On the actual Valentine's Day, it was a typical Monday with Jordan at school, but then I made some ribs and potatoes for dinner with chocolate covered strawberries! (my favorite) Best Valentine's day ever with my hubby and daughter.

Lone Mtn. Hike
We've been wanting to hike Lone Mountain (the small "mountain" by our house) since we moved here, but it just has never worked out. So finally about a week ago, we packed some water and headed out. It's nice cause we walked right from our house to the mountain and then hiked up it and it only took about 45 min. It was so good for all of us to get out of the house and get some fresh air. We haven't been able to get outside with Jordan and the puppy in a while, so it was really good for us all. We're so glad Jordan could take a quick break in his studies to go and do this with us. Here's a few pictures of the hike. Not much to see on it, except the view of the city :)
