Christmas Vacation!!

Our Christmas Vacation started when Jordan finished his finals.  We were lucky to have him completely to ourselves for a few days before we headed up to Utah.  We were able to stay there for about a week and a half so we had so much fun seeing all of our family and friends.  My sister came up with her family, so Kynli was able to have Christmas with her 3 cousins.  She had so much fun this year.  It was more fun for us too, to be able to see her excitement.  She understands a lot more this year and was even singing "Santa comin to town" for at least a week before Christmas.  She was so excited for him to bring her a candy cane and a new baby.  We also got to go down to the Diamond Ranch and ride Sunny the pony.  Kynli is still talking about it even though she wasn't quite sure about it when Uncle John was leading the pony at first. Unfortunately, we didn't have a white Christmas, but we did find the perfect and ONLY snow nearby my parents house.  Kynli wasn't so sure about the whole sledding idea after seeing her cousins and Grandpa sled down the big hill into the bushes at the bottom.  Ha ha! She is still talking about that one too.  We found a smaller hill for the younger ones and Kynli endured that one :).  Maybe next year we'll start with the small hill first.  It didn't help that she couldn't move in her snow suit.  We also got the Archer Family pictures while we were there. Overall, we had a really good relaxing trip. Here's some of the fun we had....
 Cheeser by the Christmas tree
Helping Grandma cook her famous waffles
Down at Diamond Ranch by the cows
"Ride Sunny with her gloves on", as Kynli is still saying.
We go to see Kynli's BFF Lanie while we were there too.  They had so much fun together!!

This is where she was 95% of the time at Grandma Archers.  She cooked the whole trip.  She'd say "I wanna cook"  She also cooked at Grandma Mare's house a lot too
She was so into this.  See how focused she is?  But after about 5 minutes of really helping, she ended up just eating the decorations :)
The finished project! Notice the candy cane on the right has a little less color?...that's the one Kynli had to try out before we used it to decorate ;)
Christmas Morning! Promise she's happy :) She just doesn't always show it for the pictures
The candy cane she'd hoped for
Pretending to be the baby I guess :) ha ha...she wanted to sit in the stroller more than push the baby in it.
 Being a good lil mommy

Her new stick pony from Mom and Dad

 Playin with the Diamond cousins
Reading her new Clifford book with Grandma Mare...She still can't get over the part where Clifford eats a shoe..She's a true girl! She'll say "no no Clifford"
Playin Dominoes with Sum and Whit
Chillin on the swing with Grandpa Archer
 Cutest snow bunny ever!
She colored the other 5% of the trip :)
Ok...maybe she played with playdough a little too.  She'd "roll a snake" and was actually pretty good at it!
"MOM, what did you put me in?!?" Can't you see that's what she's saying by that face?! ha ha

Not a happy camper...I think she thought we were sending her down the big hill into the bushes again...
 My big stair climber!
Feeding Rocky.  She LOVED seeing him every morning.  She'd say "I wanna go upstairs" "See Rocky!"
Jordan got to go do some pheasant hunting with his Dad, brothers, and brother-in-laws.  Jordan's mom was so nice to cook them all up for my family. After dinner we played one of the simplest, funnest games I've played in a while.  Gonna have to remember it for the next party.  We'll call it Pen Pass!

I love being able to go home to visit.  Wish we could go more often!
