Jordan's Spring Break

Jordan's spring break started off a bit early with his parents coming into town.  We love spending time with them and all they do for us.  Kynli was Grandma Mare's new best friend while she was here.  They had fun playing with her baby and reading lots of books, racing, painting, and coloring.  It was so nice to have them here, even if it was for a short time.

We headed up to St. George Saturday morning when they left.  We met my parents and oldest brother there for an air show.  My sister drove up too and somehow beat us there after leaving 30 min after us?!?! It didn't help that we got stuck in a line of cars getting in the air show for about an hour! Kynli was super excited to see the airplanes.  She was crazy giddy as soon as we got out of the car and saw the planes flying.  Grandma got her a lil pink airplane toy and she loved it! Her and her cousins were playing with them the entire time. So cute! We left a few minutes early from the air show because the sandstorm hit.  And when I say sand storm it really was the worst sand storm I've been in.  The wind was blowing so hard across the dirt/sand parking lot that it was ridiculous.  We were covered with dirt by the time we got to the car.  We were lucky enough to get out of the parking lot in about 30 min....however....my brother and dad sat parked in their car for over 2 hours just waiting to move. Crazy! Luckily they made it to dinner that night at the Pizza Factory...yum! Jordan had to head home, but Kynli and I stayed one night and enjoyed a yummy breakfast and a lil shoppin at the outlets the next day.

We came home Sunday night and picked up Jordan to head to Mandalay Bay for a little Staycation.  The whole point of staying there was to swim at the "Beach" but the weather wasn't cooperating, so we head to Town Center for some lunch and to play at the park there.  Kynli got to spend a lot of time with Jordan while I went to work and a few meetings.  We ended the week with a group date at dinner and the Hunger Games movie.  It was so nice to have Jordan home for a bit!
